Jean-Francois Baron Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine sur lie

Retasted. Has filled out and bitterness has gone. Has filled out nicely with good spiciness mid palate, med finish, dry, a touch of musk but still fresh. Overall, a suitably weighty take on a sur lie.

Colour: pale straw, bright, clear. Nose: full, fresh, floral, sl spicy, Taste: light body, rounded, musky, melon, mod acidity, med finish, dry, rounded, musky, touch butter. Overall, enjoyable and more complex than many Muscadets. The bitterness disturbed me so will retry.
