Konzelmann Riesling Traminer Icewine

Dark amber/brown; burnt sugar, figs, caramel; sweet, wildflower honey, molasses, slightly oily, medium-full body, tangy acidity, long finish. Very dark with sediment. Oxidized, figgy, molasses flavours indicated a sweet sherry. Decent mouthfeel and body with some volatile acidity. This probably peaked 10 yrs ago. Still a treat to taste this 20 yr old Canadian icewine from uncle's cellar. 1 of only 200 bottles.
