Nutty, a little oxidative, but no evidence of that in the light gold color. Orange cream fruit with decent length. Tastes older than its years. If this bottle is typical, it needs to be drunk soon.

A nice bottle of Chassagne-Montrachet. Has that classic Montrachet nose with a lot of minerality. On the palette the wine is heavy, but the fruit is delicate and balanced very well with the acidity. Pear, honeysuckle and a slight hint of caramel/butterscotch. Very enjoyable.

Burgundy Fest 1.0 (Waterford Wine Co., Milwaukee) : A soft whisper of an oaky cream. The acid makes this go KAPOW!! on the palate. Moderate fruit express on a very present palate with a smoke and soft spice.

Light to medium straw gold. Pleasant aromas of citrus and pear lead to a mineral and citrus driven mid palate. Comfortable in it's skin, the oak treatment is well intergrated. Reserved and elegant, plenty of mineral and stone surrounded by notes of honeysuckle, all heading to a crisp firm finish.
