Hann knappt börja sniffa på vinet förrän någon i församlingen sa att “Det här måste vara White Bones eller Stones”. Jag tyckte doften var ganska diskret, stenig kalkighet, någon tyckte det doftade vit glögg? Det som avslöjar den är den rätt distinkta tonen av mynta eller någon slags aromatisk örtighet. Har inte provat denna årgång men för de jag har provat så har den noten alltid funnits där. I smaken strävt och kallkigt, fräsch syra. Väldigt elegant.

Medium yellow color. White flowers, citrus, honey, green grass. Nice weight, but fresh and acidic, oak, minerals, vanilla. Med+ finish.

My favourite out of the 2015, '16 and '17. A touch less herbal than '15 / '16, and a touch more rounded, meant that it balanced better with the high acidity. Ready to drink with 30 mins warming in the glass / warming up from fridge cold.

Not as good as last bottle. Deep golden color, sherry nose. Some lemon notes, but overripeness and sherry notes dominate, short finish, medium body. Not a big pleasure any more.

Tuesday Night Double Blind $50+ (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA) : Golden color, steeliness at the rim; lemongrass, preserved lemon, herbs, honeycomb, yogurt, exotic and different, softer acids, minty herbal finish; Chard- Chablis 2011?, I should have known White Bones as acid wasn't right for Chablis.

스시랑 같이 마심 빨리 마셔서 그런지 충분히 매력을 못느끼겠음 이 와인도 첨 마셨을때가 제일 맛있었던것 같다 white stones white bones 2019빈 한병씩 보유중인데 만약이 이들도 이런식이면 좀 실망스러울것 같다

This wine has tons of aromatic herbs, thyme, lavender, lemongrass and it has a vibrant palate where the acidity is effervescent and lively and the finish salty. It's vibrant and sharp, more in the style of a Chablis.

Golden color. Very complex nose of citrus, peach, butter, vanilla, notes of almond. Surprisingly one-dimensional on the palate, short finish. No signs of oxidation. But not as complex as I hoped. I guess some more years to go.

Out of a Riedel Grand Cru Burgundy stem. Light straw, very young appearing. Nose is a bit shy- it takes some rooting around to pull out complex aromas of various citrus fruits, stone dust, a touch of creaminess, interesting notes of rosemary, and even a bit of kelp (kombu). What a fascinating palate. The texture its full, there is a viscosity and almost an oiliness that reminds of a N Rhone white, but with a flavor profile and acid level …

(16,5/20) Beautiful Chardonnay from Argentina. Not new world at all. Herbaceous (sage!) and mineral. Good length. I like it! Medium+ intense aromas of white peach, tangerine, apricot, pineapple heart, lemon, blossom, sage, biscuit, marzipan, aniseed, wet stone. Dry wine, medium+ acidity, medium body, pronounced flavour intensity, long finish. 13% - €105 (horeca price) @ Wijnbar Pinot

I wanted more from this wine, but it remained linear the entire night. Oyster shell, saline and olive brine. Crisp acid but lacked longevity on the palate.

This wine opens up on the nose with an intense rosemary olive oil character, mint, white flowers, just the lightest touch of smoke, and a hugely stony mineral influence. It's rounded on the palate but with an ethereal weightlessness. Citrus, white pear, apple, and alot of delicious minerals from the fossilized animal bones found among the limestone. I did not pick up on any oak notes as many have. Will only improve with some more years.

Pas m�chant mais je pr�f�re la cuv�e White Stones de Catena...surtout que nous avions bu ce vin AVEC Laura Catena elle m�me lors de la Grande D�gustation de Montr�al en 2014...elle m�me a un penchant pour le White Stones. Celui-ci est bien, mais moins complexe, moins vif et tendu et moins long.

Clear and medium golden yellow. Interesting nose with some praline, almonds, petrol, citrus and a bit of funkiness. Medium plus acidity with a light plus body. A bit acidic on the palate with granny smith apples, and white stones. A touch of creaminess as well into the medium plus finish. Drink till 2021.

Appearance: Clear wine with a medium lemon colour. Nose: Clean nose with a pronounced intensity. This wine is developing. I've never smelt a wine quite like this before.
