Mums. Solvarma jordgubbar, körsbär och nypon i en otroligt elegant kostym. Otroligt örtigt för att vara Monforte - men de kanske har sourcar sina druvor från annan stans till LN? Hög syra och doften återspeglas i munnen med hög syra och lång och komplex eftersmak. Imponeras varje gång av producenten.

A very nice Nebbiolo, with an elegantly soft, plush feel even though it does retain structure. Red fruited, with wild strawberries and cherry, and also quite floral with violet and something like orange blossom rather than roses. Some rosehip as well perhaps. I like this a lot.

Grand Cru Portfolio Tasting (3/9 Grand Cru Portfolio Tasting, NYC) : Classic Nebbiolo nose of young, fresh corn. Palate is hard to read (or maybe my palate's shot after 50+ wines) at this point.

Vino identitario, nebbiolo delle langhe. Al naso note balsamiche accompagnate da un bel frutto. In bocca tannino ancora un po’ giovane, scalpitante; bella persistenza.
