Tasted at the Three Borders Wine Group, Hampshire, UK. Light cherry colour. Very light style, cherry nose, almost like a fizzy soft drink would taste when flat. Simple, slightly sour, unappetising, bitter.

P&p. Pretty aromas of red fruit and flowers, spice (allspice/clove and black pepper), herbs/plants, and fleeting hints of rubber and tar. My first try of this grape; if blind I might guess Gamay. Similar flavors, juicy cranberry-cherry-apple, fresh, tasty; fruity, in an entirely good way. A streak of salinity. Fairly light-bodied, with good acidity and almost nonexistent tannins; highly crushable. Quite enjoyable; I had no idea what to expect, and this was a nice surprise. Seems made to drink young. …
