the color is deep ruby with some purple. nose of fresh bread, baking spices, wood, leather, smoke, tobacco, wet gravel and the palate of dark lifted fruits and asian spice like szechuan peppercorn which define the numbing tannins and finish. agian, nose is leafy, herby, hot, earthy, dried flowers, dried fruits, wood, but mostly tobacco leaf, earthy, dusty with touches of baking spices and pastry cabinet ingredients. tl;dr solid entry level st. emilion.
