Exactly what you would want/expect from a Zin at this price point. Jammy, fruit forward, but with enough old vine backbone and spice to keep it grounded. Enjoy with food.

I have to agree with the wine maker notes that the blend of younger and older Zin works.this tasted off dry but the notes do not mention residual sugar. Full jammy fruits of blue berry, light licorice and a finish w some pepper/ spice. Don't remembered where I got this but I would buy again.

A blend of grapes from Paso Robles and Lodi appellations, from the 2008 (6%), 2009 (78%) and 2010 (16%) vintages. Smells very green with ripe fruits and sour cherry aromas. Medium-bodied, slightly off-dry with notes of raisins, red plums and is slightly jammy. Good acidity with medium-length finish.

nice nose but overly sweet, or I was not expecting it to be as sweet as it was. Drank over three days and I liked it better on the second and third day.
