Pleasant but not special.

Blackberries, strawberries, sous bois, hot brick and braised duck, with some truffles. A long, flowing finish. Round middle. Fine tannins and a little forward, but the layers of flavor and texture show elegance. Delectable today, even better in a couple of years. Medium body. Drink 2028 -.

Ruby purple color. Floral spice on the nose. Nice mouth feel. Crunchy dark fruit light spice well balanced acidity and tannins. Will return to in another 3-5 years.

Okhuysen-Proeven tussen de stellingen: A good depthness of colour, the bouquet is a bit vague at the moment. The wine has a good body and a firm aftertaste, but is not so expressive.
