Sequoia All Koji Sake

I expected something much heavier here, but the sake is quite light on the tongue. The flavour is closer to something barrel-aged than a traditional sake, with earthy notes (and almost woody). Honestly the raw alcohol taste comes more forward than anything after a sip, but that isn't a bad thing.
