Grab bag of grapes in this one. Very light bodied, like a pinot. There is a decent level of acid, and subtle tannin, if that. Good balance of fruit/sugar with some deeper spicy/vanilla/oaky notes in background. Surprisingly decent for what i thought would be more of a "cheap" red with no backbone or style...it may be close to this, but must say i would buy again. Raspberry, blackberry, prunes, hints of vanilla, minty. Good amount of fruit, soft tannins, medium-to-full bodied, lingering dark berry aftertaste. Drink now.
