For fish stew - perfect. A wine that is buttery, vanilla and oaky. But not intrusive but elegant. Pineapple, raspberry, gooseberry. To this some minerality. Really great. The color, golden, elegance!

Light tangy lemon, melon, banana sweet oak and vanilla on the nose. Strong butterscotch on the palate with a bit of mango, full body with smooth creamy texture and mildly acidic finish. This is a fat Chardonnay so understand why some people may not like it.

Fairly ridiculous over the top Chardonnay. Not unpleasant but incredibly forward. Give it a go for a tenner.

I did not like this at all. Way too strong vanilla, almost undrinkable

By the glass at Astoria Brasserie, Stockholm. Freshly opened. The nose is of a classic soft oaky chardonnay but the plate goes beyond and is less buttery and oaky than the nose implies which creates a good balance. Good palate presence and acidity abs frankly a very happy wine and a good surprise . 88-89

Straw yellow colour. This wine does quite literally what it says on the tin. A heavy feel in the mouth and a nose of vanilla and butter, with a layer of added toast (not bread, so maybe not 100% literally). Thick and sweet in the mouth, which reminds me of ribena / vimto / squash (English syrup you mix with water to create the beverage). This wine has no sophistication. It is too thick and full. What it needs is …

Too much! Same for wife. Very strong California Chardonnay. Kind of smoked flavour to the taste. And eucalyptus. All just TOO strong tasting. Sadly not for me, despite a strong Recommendation from a compelling source. Will try tomoz night …..

Vera american. Tons of butter and vanilla a little sent of peach- but the excellence in this vine is the balance. It’s à lot, but not too much!

13.5% alcohol; composite cork with an aroma of a very weak-smelling catliya orchid, medium-weight foil; long legs, 12-karat crystalline gold; aroma of apple pulp just starting to go over the hill; full bodied but definitely over the hill in the tasting, bottle was flawed

Simply loaded with vanilla I became intrigued after trying the 18' after it had been opened for nearly 5 days. That 2018 at that state (opened 5 days) was really good and reminded me of a French beurdeaux blanc but slightly sweeter. Tonight the 19' has that sweetness, also has that vanilla, but lacks the melancholy that 5 days opened yielded. Worth finding and trying. From my experience perhaps needs some age.

A rather inexpensive Chard that seems to achieve an elusive goal. The wine is at once dry and crisp and also buttery. It is wonderful and worth finding. A good wine by my accounting. Apricot nut, vanilla bean, oak, tropical fruits on the palette.

Too much oak, perfumed by vanilla, no acidity at all, too sweet. Better after an hour of air and cooled down to about 12 degrees. Still not a good wine.

I was surprised by this wine Vanilla, honey, buttered toast, and cooked apple with a sweeter tropical fruit of mango or guava even on the palate. Very full body. Smooth with a good structure.

This was very heavy on the oak and won't be for everyone but to be fair, it doesn't pretend to be anything other than an oak-bomb. Pretty good if you like more wood than fruit.

This is huge. Gold, viscous in appearance, A big nose of vanilla cream and not a lot else: perhaps a little spirit, some caramelised apple if I try really hard, and a pastry edge; after all this there's a note of confected fruits - candied peel and sultanas. A massive taste too. Roasted peaches and vanilla cream. Some baked apple and baked nectarines.A finish full of spirits, brandy-like. Does it need time or will it just stay the same then …

This wine is very clear and light golden yellow. The nose smells of melted butter, cream and meringue. The flavors include butter, vanilla, and creme brulee. This is an over charged California Chardonnay. If you like Butter by JAM than you will like this as well.

Color: light gold; nose: vanilla and oak; taste: medium-bodied rounded mouth feel, soft on palate, buttery taste, medium-length finish with apple-pear notes, mild tannins; overall: affable and pleasant, moderately-oaked chard, ready to drink as of Dec 2016, ordinary QPR ($15/bottle -- would be a bargain at under $12), would serve to company, should pair well with light hors d’ouevres (e.g., smoked salmon, brie). Will buy again!
