Aurum Pinot Noir Madeleine

Huge Pinot Noir. Big nose of mushroom, earth, mixed red fruit and perhaps a pleasant hint of eucalyptus or something similar. Big mouth feel with subdued fruit. Smooth. Elegant but with masculine overtones. Slightly bitter finish. A lot going on. Young. Should probably be held another 4 to 8 years. Wish I had another bottle.

No notes, but his was a PN with everything in place. Would benefit from a couple of years in the cellar; tannins a bit tough, but good fruit, nice spicey nose and lovely chewy texture.
