This wine has such lovely bright red fruit, lots of earth and minerality, and a long spicy finish.

Intense nose of red fruit and tobacco. Very balanced and black cherry and cola on the palate. Turning a little brown on the edges in the glass. Wish I had one more of these……

Nose was good strength with cherry and raspberry notes. Color medium red with some orange around the rim. Palate was red berry fruit but not as much as what I remember from before. Finish seemed to be short. Will drink our remaining one soon and recommend others do as well

Deep, dark, brooding Pinot Noir. Almost Syrah-like in character. Would go well with grilled meats, roast beef, etc...

Absolutely wonderful! Thought it may have been too late (Jan/20), but it is drinking really well - cherry notes, very smooth, nicely balanced with a medium-long finish.

Nice wine. Still has a little life in it. Nice nose of red fruit including strawberry with some diminishing flavors of red fruit, medium body and well integrated tannins. Drink up!

Our 2015 Whole Cluster Cuvée Pinot Noir opens with enticing aromas of dried Mission fig, strawberry and fresh mint swirled around notes of root beer and forest floor. The opulent, juicy palate captivates with mouth coating notes of tobacco and Brandy soaked cherry, supported by fresh minerality and finegrained tannins on the mid-palate, creating a finesse that lasts throughout the enduring, elegant finish.

Color: Purple Nose: Dark fruits and berries, black currants, licorice with hints of cherries, spice and saffron Palate: Strawberries, cherries umami with subtle hints of chocolate and minerals Finish: Medium bodied with plush integrated tannins Decanting: Popped let sit in the glass for 15 minutes before consuming Thoughts: This wine was paired with a Buffalo Prime Rib and it matched perfectly. Just the right amount of body and tannins to work perfectly with the Buffalo, which can be challenging. This …

Fantastic nose of dark fruit and earth. Palette is almost there. I'll give it another couple of years before opening the next one.

Dinner with M/M vinole (HB Bistro, Chicago) : I found this very muted and simple, giving nothing in the bouquet or on the palate except for sour red fruit. I don't know if this was an off bottle or simply too young and in a bad spot, but this wasn't enjoyable at all. I suspect the latter, and given time, this will be a good wine. Try again 2018+.

Opened at Home Bistro by Wine Sparty. This had a peculiar funk on the nose, almost barnyard like, that eventually blew off. Tart cherry and some black fruits as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed this. Big dark cherry fruit mixes with well integrated spicy oak and forest floor flavors. Long finish. Definitely not elegant and feminine, but the flavors blended together really well and as a total package it is pretty darn good.

judgement of sweden - wines from oregon and washington state (Operaterassen, Stockholm) : extremely big wine for a pinot noir. would have guessed shiraz or something similar. licorice, tobacco, blackberries, but there is freshness and structure. Just a matter of not comparing this to elegant pinot noir wines. And pair it with a grilled steak...

judgement of sweden - wines from oregon and washington state (Operaterassen, Stockholm) : fantastic nose, with a lot of complexity, funk, earth, dark berries, very fine and well built. A big wine, but elegant and all in one piece.

We must have a bottle that was at end of life or going bad, it was not corked. It did not have any of the characteristics that others have commenting about and when we tasted it a year ago. Color: Dark Cherry Nose: Strong earthiness with tones of dark red cherries, spices, and dark red fruits. Palate: Medium to full bodied with medium acidity with some tannins Finish: Medium at best Thoughts: I really hope this was a bad bottle. …

Willamette Valley Wines presents: Pinot in the City (City Winery, Chicago, IL) : Nose: There is noticeable oak right off the bat with tones of dark red cherries, wood spices, candy and dark red fruits. Taste: Full bodied with medium acidity and some chewy tannins. The tones of dark red cherries, oak, wood spices, and some candy tones are on the richer side. Overall: The oak is on the heavier handed side, but this does seem to hold it better.

Popped and poured on a whim. Bright, 2010-typical notes on the nose. Very pleasant mix of earth, peppery spice, tart cherry, and violet petals. Young on the palate, but the tannins are very well integrated even now. Full, supple fruit across the mid palate ending in a clean, crisp finish. Plenty of snap and verve for a 2010, and a delight to drink.

At first open right out of bottle had very musty unappealing smell and taste started very tart and sour, but the finish was fruity and nice. Decanted and after about 30 minutes the musty smell was greatly reduced, taste starts tart cherry with nice mineral favors and finishes long and tart cheery turns to sweet an smooth. Very nice with enough mineral and tannins that should get better over next year or two.

Popped and poured one night, then finished over the next couple nights. It definitely was at its best on the third night. Tart cherry and plum aroma, with a bit of sourness to it, but not bad. The taste is a pretty nice black cherry, with a bit of tartness.

Popped and poured with grilled chicken. Toasty aroma with black cherry. Taste is pure black cherry, with a slight hint towards cola, but not in a bad way at all. This is certainly an enjoyable wine, but not very complex and I'm not sure that it is going to develop into much more over time.
