Stanlake Park Cricket Grove

Like the previous reviewer, I wasn't very impressed. It's thin, lacking in fruit and structure. Left open for another couple of hours, but no improvement.

Not a very inspiring red wine. Very light in colour, it had a taste of wet cotton, or even wet dogs .... at 11.5% it might have been not completely ripe at harvest as it was really mushy and sort of green, lacking developed fruit notes. No indication on the bottle about what grape was used, but it felt a bit like Dornfelder, just not ripe.
