First impression: oak! The wine needed some time to express itself and get over the oak. Vanilla, cinnamon, milk, cream, wax, touch of caramel, but then lots of wet stones, lots of salt, sea breeze, cockels, iodine, fresh crispy citrus fruits, touch of pineapple. Aromatic nose with citrus, orchard fruit, herbs, and minerals. Good acidity with quite a bit of body and bright fruit, lemon, and a hint of peach flavors. Nice finish. This is a lovely Chardonnay that should age beautifully! 93+
