Pale straw yellow, in the nose medium(+) intensive of grass, apple, chalky notes, stone fruit (peaches). On the palate apple, peach, some herbs (like lemon balm), for a rather simple Silvaner remarkably intense. Also medium to medium(+) body. Medium, somewhat tart (but in a pleasant way) finish. We forgot it in our cellar and suspected it to be passed its date but it was surprisingly good (some riper notes appear) for a first warm spring afternoon with grilled asparagus.
