Noahcap's note is totally on the money. Amazingly good (esp. for the price), youthful but mature at the same time, depth and freshness. Great now.

I rarely drink Muscadet, and almost never anything more than a couple years old. That needs to change! Still very young appearing in the glass; light gold with a watery rim. Aggressively saline, lively, lemony sea spray nose. A little golden apple that I am attributing to age. Waited too long

Deeper color and increased texture due to being aged 5 years sur lie. Golden yellow in color and clear in the glass; Aromas of apples, lemon, honey, and honeysuckle/jasmine on the nose; Tastes of Fuji apples, lemon peel, and toast on the palate; medium body with medium(+) acidity; long and linear on the palate with ripe and intense concentration which left a lasting impression.

This is a complex muscadet that has been aged on its lees for over five years. (A duplicate entry on CellarTracker adds "sur lie" to the wine's title.). The core of the wine is lemon and minerals. The wine also has interesting tropical fruit aromas (papaya and passionfruit) and the funky, cheesy aromas you'd expect from lees aging. Like other muscadets, this wine is better with food (seafood is the obvious pairing), but it can be enjoyed on its own …

Character from leesy notes and fine acidity.

A: Pale gold N: Medium (+) intensity of lemon, apple, pear, cheese, yoghurt, yeast, chamomile, hay. The fruit is tart. P: Dry, medium (+) acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium (+) intensity and medium (+) finish C: The balance between the acid and the fruit intensity is well constructed.
