Remoissenet Pere et Fils Beaune 1er Cru Marconnets

Developing mineral Pinot nose - quite dark and cool. Notes of stalks and herbaceousness, masculine; quite chunky tannins still, good mouthfeel and texture. A little drying perhaps suggesting that it wouldn't benefit from further aging. Drying, tannic finish. Drink sooner rather than later.

This had quite an evolved colour - a little vegetal on the nose and I would say probably on its slow decline now; if you have some drink sooner rather than later. Pleasant but nothing special.
