St. Josef's Pinot Noir Lot 22 Estate Special Reserve Starling Hill

Really very good with attractive cherry fruit, a little earth, good acidity. Burgundian. Optimal time to drink.

Hand carried from the winery by my wife a couple of years ago after she tasted there. I was dubious. This is their top Pinot, and really very nice. Proper Burgundy color, nice fruit and mineral nose, and lovely cherry palate with some earth. Not the last word in complexity, but drinking very well and a nice match for sauteed Norwegian salmon.
