Color is a beautiful golden straw color with a nose of some barnyard and wet hay. In the mouth it's full with lemon zest and green apple mid palate. The finish is pretty long and some wet stone does emerge on the back end. Slightly sweet but the citrus does keep it in check and there is a nice smoothness in the background to balance the the tart edges.

Willamette Valley Century Club (100 wines in a day)! : Very generic chardonnay oak funk on the nose coupled with funky wild apples. More weird oak funk on the palate, and strange balance. Too much generic oak funk on the finish... really not my style of wine, and this doesn't taste like anything other than run of the mill USA Chardonnay. Boring.

The REAL Willamette Valley century club (100 wines at the wineries in 1 day) (Willamette Valley - Oregon) : Steely right off the bat, some light minerality (probably the steel) with green apples and white grapes. Lots of acidity, while not perfectly balanced I liked the stronger intensity.
