delicious pink cherry and floral aromas, married with earthy umami. There’s a lot about this wine- Rainier cherry, muted tea, mushroom broth, rose petals, spice cabinet, and a lifted candied cherry character. Deeper berry and anise as it opened. Evident whole cluster ferm. keeping it soft lithe and elegant.

A wonderful, complete, lightly styled, acid driven, low sugar, savory yet intensely fruity pinot with a gorgeous bouquet.

Pale ruby. Med- body, Med- tannin, Med/+ acidity. Fresh red fruits with cherry and strawberry, loads of savory spice, herbs, turned Earth, decomposing forest floor, mushroom. Long, mouth-watering, minerally salty finish, but not sharp at all. A terroir-driven wine showing restraint from the winemaker.

On the nose: cranberry, chocolate cherry, mushroom, leather, smoke, salt, kiwi, balsamic glaze, Welsh’s grape juice Taste: I get lots of dark fruit and chocolatey notes on the palate. A little peppery. Dry. Fairly acidic.

Insanely good Pinot Noir. Almost perfectly balanced between ripe red Pinot fruit and everything that is non-fruit and refreshing and appetizing, with just an undertone of funk. Very transparent but with a vivid hue. One of the finest CA Pinots I've had in some time. Seriously impressive, and not cheap at $65, but would more than hold its own with Burgundy at $100+. Gonna find more Whitcraft, quicktime.

medium density brilliant bright ruby color with some cloudiness. grape leaves, fresh bay leaf, sage, savory, anise, stony granite, and medicinal cherry fruit on the nose. medium bodied with an integrated tingly acidity. sweet cherry/raspberry syrup with a strong green leafy component. just super herby. orange zest, vanilla, and black tea are there. no tannin to speak of. dry, medium length finish. great aromatic complexity and depth of flavor.

Shows attractive, sweet and slightly tart strawberry/raspberry fruit aromas, along with a big wave of herbs giving lots of savory spice. Very fresh on the palate, flashing good plus acidity and medium fruit concentration. Consistent flavor profile as per the nose, with good inner mouth perfume, and with the herbs and spices accenting the fruit well. On the back, it sports its fresh, lithe frame with fine tannins that give a lower intensity sustain, but with good length. Followed over …

plenty of green, stemmy notes on the nose, integrated a bit with time to show some warm muted red fruits, orange tea, and baking spices. palate is medium bodied with medium minus acidity, well balanced with a bit of lift. flavors of cherry syrup and vanilla typical of the region. became significantly more savory with 1-2 hours open and green and mineral streaks emerged. long finish. more earthy character than most cali pinot noir i've had but still recognizable.

Nose light tart cherry, maybe a little raspberry. Taste rich fruit but still light and smooth, touch of earthy tones, coats the mouth with tart fruit with perfect tannin balance. Finish is light and smooth, just a great wine and delight to drink. Will be interested to try again after a little age on it.
