Jammy red fruit. Hint of coffee on the nose. I did not taste any spice. Very smooth. Would have liked more backbone. Not complex. Pleasant, everyday wine.

nose: earthy. some sweaty baseball mitt images come to mind, with a bit of green vegetable to boot. Palate: deep dark cherry flavor, a full mouthfeel that was smoothed out, with a tinge of metal. Amanda's contribution to the Hawai'i blind tasting.

Smooth Australian Shiraz. Deep dark purple color. Pepper and cherry.

Dark, inky purple appearance. Strong nose of tart cherry, strawberry and a hint of leather. Full bodied and slightly tart with more cherry and strawberry. Generous finish. Very enjoyable, but a little too tart for my preferences to drink regularly.

Enjoyable, straightforward, Australian shiraz. Little menthol initially, berries, pepper spices, with an olive note. Tasty, with not much complexity, but a good value.

Heavy, rich bouquet of coffee and earthiness (or was it coffeeness and earth?), with lots of spice. Taste: coffee, pepper, and cherry, although not as fruity as it could have been. Nice wine for the price, though.
