Decanted for two hours and served at 60 degrees. Floral aromas with just a hint of menthol. Balanced, resolved and "open for business." Flavors of red fruit, baking spices, cedar and mocha. Some secondary elements. Medium-long finish with no burn. So enjoyable!

Purchased at the winery in September, 2016. Beautiful Bordeaux blend from estate grown grapes that is in the middle of its' drinking window. Decanted for two hours and consumed over the following two. Balanced, resolved and wonderfully expressive with flavors of dark cherry, plum, baking spices, licorice, mocha and toasted caramel. Medium-full mouthfeel, polished and velvety smooth. Long-lasting finish. One bottle remaining that will be consumed within the next two years.

Looks great in the glass ... no brown tinges at all. Nice nose of dark red/black fruit ... same on the palate. Soft tannins and fruit ... nice balance ... just wanted a little more fruit.
