Full bodied , meaty, definitely better colder. More floral notes after two hour decant . Even better on second day.

Absolutely outstanding. This bottle far outperformed the prior one from a year or so ago. The nose was entrancing with terrific fruit and savory elements in the mouth. Feels like peak here. Delicious.

Another really nice showing. Dark and ripe with great balance. Dark berry, boysenberry, blackberries and some brush. Nice complex and persistent. Excellent.

Deep red, clear red edge, long moderate drops appearance. Smells of blueberry, ribena, blackberry, wood, tobacco, faint smoke, paraffin. Tastes of blackberry, lemon, wood, vanilla. Good fruit, clear acidity and integrated tannins. Works with food now, but can probably still handle years of storage.

First bottle of two. Had with a great match of chicken in a Moroccan spiced tomato sauce. Deep and dark, with loads of blackberry and peppery spiced fruit. Nice complexity and a long finish. Seems to be pretty Syrah influenced. Really enjoyed this, drinking very well. Showed better than a couple of "better" CnDp's over the past few days.

Big rhone, black pepper, cherries, mild tobacco. Needs to drunk at cellar temperature

Nose - black pepper Mouth - peppery dark fruit, nicely balanced, big wine. Definitely for food IMHO

Decent, unspectacular St Joseph. Nice pepper/leather nose, something a bit disjoint about the palate. A slight unattractive bitter note gets in the way. Okay, but you can do better for the price.
