Tapped with Coravin since we just wanted to try it. This is a delicious wine. For context, our reference for Barossa Grenache is the Powell & Son Seppeltsfield Grenache, a truly mind-blowing wine. Based on that, the somm at Spirited Gourmet in Belmont, MA, who knows Dave Powell’s winemaking, recommended this as a wine made in a similar style, but clearly at a more agreeable price. The white, the first time, lots of interest in Grenache Blanc. And lots of Clariette here. simply a delicious drink. Forget about varietal characters and go for delicious wine.

Spring 2020 Memorial (Golf, Illinois) : Our family members have always been fans of Two Hands and one of their bottles would have been a natural for this event, but I didn’t have any on hand. But my Dad also admired Aussie Grenache, so I pulled this bottle. Alas this is a somewhat ordinary everyday wine, on the sweet side and pretty international. Blueberry, vanilla, cream.
