WOW! Plenty of fruit, beautiful currents with eucalyptus overtones. Well balanced and nice mouth feel. Still has time but won’t get better!

4th Chicago Steak Out (Otis' house) : Tasted blind at the 4th Chicago Steak Out. Tied for last in the voting among 18 wines. R2D2 brought this wine. The only Aussie in the lineup. Medium bodied with good berry notes. 89 points.

Steak Out (Otis') : Label: otter. Garnet color, opening with a nice earthy, herbal dark fruit aroma. Showed more herbs as it sat in the glass, along with flavors of blackberry, dark fruit and spice. Good underlying acidity as well. My #7 overall wotn.

Big, bold, and with outstanding fruit, all while maintaining structure. I bought three bottles, tasted it, and split a case with a friend who drank the first bottle with me and raved. Sorry to see that I am down to my last bottle.
