Dark ruby/purple/black color. Black raspberry and blueberry fruit on the nose with additional hints of tobacco, leather, herbs and smoke. Same combination of black and blue berry fruit on the palate along with notes of dark plum, dark chocolate, coffee and baking spices. Long and subtle finish with very fine grained tannins and well balanced acidity. Medium bodied with a nice combination of power and depth.

A lucky find at a random bottle store. Probably should have drunk this right away but cellared it for a year. Regardless, a promising nose with leather and tobacco, and something that can only be described as old dusty cellar. Medium bodied with rich, dark fruits. Medium tannins. Definitely past its best by the time I had it though.

Big, rich, deep Tempranillo fruit. A bit too much oak for me. Still it wasn't bad.

By the glass at BA lounge Gatwick. Fresh bottle Proudly boasts 97 points from decanter this is a good modern Ribera wine with all the hallmarks. Ripe juicy, oaky, vanilla and with a good helping of extraction. Good wine but. It a standout. 89
