Showing nice. Tannins have really softened on this and I’m not sure it will go much longer. All sap on the nose with a light floral note. BlackBerry, cassis, forest floor and wet rocks. Classic Rasteau. Such a good year that this is more than just a little adjacent to CnDP.

Deliciously tannic and elegant. Peppery with cherry and plum notes.

In a great spot— notes of dried blackberries and dried flowers; good acidity; a bit of heat on the finish (so chilled it down a bit more).

Rich, floral red that holds up well.

PnP: Very Nice. Caramel and plum, with a Nice animal touch On the nose. Spicy and acid mouth. Polished tannins. After 1 hour, lots of vanilla on the nose, and a less acid mouth. Good, but not exceptionally good, wine. Mouth could be more integrated.

Lovely Rasteau! I need more of this. Emblematic of southern Rhône the poise of Rasteau. Inky black but fruit, terroir, garrique and spices are swirled together such that one isn’t quite sure where the palate yields to finish not where the finish ends. $30ish? Wow.

Nice Rasteau. Drinking well here with nice balance of maturity and youth.

This has integrated better than the last taste and come together quite nicely. A great example of a powerful southern Rhone.

This is big, structured, and powerful and just seeming to hit peak stride although it could continue to improve.

Opaque black with an inch pour. An excellent Syrah ringer for a Cabernet Sauvignon. Full bodied. Very firm and drying tannin. Blackberry and black currant fruit. At 9 years, aging well and worth keeping for years more. If it developes smoked meat flavors, could well become great as a Syrah. Outstanding with meat dishes.

Wow! Let this breath for several hours....and then overnight after a wine tasting. This is just entering its drinking window. Very fruity taste, excellent balance with the tannins. Very earthy on the nose, anise and raisins dominate. Only half of that transfers to the mid pallet. For a QPR, this wine rocks. Try not to drink it too soon.

Not as good as I remember. Fruit a little more muted and a much drier wine than the previous bottle. Pleasant and solid, not much more.

Drank a few days ago, so don't remember the specifics. However, a full-bodied wine with ripe lush purple/dark blue fruit that was relatively complex and interesting. I'd buy more.

Similar notes as before (below): This is a BIG, BIG wine Heavy, Heavy sediment! Need to decant this and let it breathe for a couple of hours. Simply delicious! Very dark fruits, but well integrated tannins make this an outstanding wine with a meal, or a stronger sipping wine. There were absolutely no flaws in this wine.

I found this wine to be young and tannic. More rest time needed.

Opaque black with a tiny clear ring at the edge in the glass. Generous aromas of blackberry and black currant. The sip is very smoothly textured, has fine structuring acidity and tannin, and adds black raspberry. Concentrated without being heavy or hotly alcoholic. Very delicious and great with food, especially lamb. Overall, a top notch Rasteau that was consistently one of the favorites when served for five days beside 7 other wines with lunch and dinner. Aging beautifully, fully enjoyable …

Jolie vin, long, pur et intense, mais l'alcool ressort un peu trop en final.

Beautiful Rasteau; needs air but offers gorgeous dark fruit balanced with unctuous tar and tree sap. Somehow this wine integrates and glides over the palate!
