With MPL and BLR after work in MPL's office. Deep yellow color, showing some age. Very pleasant nose of vanilla, coconut. "Creamy vanilla oakiness." On the palate, it is big-bodied and very oaky. Fruit is somewhat overwhelmed, and the wine is just lemony and tart in terms of fruit. Somewhat unpleasant finish. The flavor is what ruined this one, aside from being awkward and clumsy in the mouth. 5-10-6-3: 74/100.
