Fernand & Laurent Pillot Pommard Tavannes

Clear and dark Medium intense nose of stable, autumn leaves, earth and black berries. On the palate, it is forest berries, black berries, coffee beans and some tannins. Nice intensity and long lasting. Rather typical for Pommard but I still lack some fruit to balance the oak and tannins.

Again quite a lick of mocha oak with earthy black cherry; nice silky texture on the palate, good dark fruit. Coffee and oak on the finish. Long. If the oak integrates this could be superb. 87-90+
