Monthly tasting club "The Tasting Club": Priorat (@ My place) : Beautiful and floral bouquet with sweet spices and red and dark berries. On the palate juicy dark berries, good acidity and round tannin. Perfectly mature now.

Nobody on CT owns this wine, but this winery is definitely my favorite winery. Their high end Monello is fantastic, but this wine for the price is as good as any wine can be (imo) It definitely has the taste of Priorat wines, minerality, good acidity. Eðalklúbbur, wine tasting #1 winter 2016 (Marbakkabraut 12) : Medium garnet. Brownish hue in the edge. Bouquet of stable, solvents and cheese (Gamle Ole). Medium bodied wine. Red fruits and some bitterness is apparent. Finishes very abruptly. The consensus was that it was over the top and going downhill.
