This was very good, just the right level of crisp green apple and autolytic notes. Best when it was chilled down. 90-91

Nose strongly yeast, brioche, some red fruit and lemon, chalk. palate lifted by nice acidity, lemon and red fruit mroe dominant here, minerals, especially toward finish. Long finish. Hits above price point; drinks very much like a mid-level NV champagne.

I don't drink enough Champagne (OK I know this is technically sparkling wine...) but this stuff was terrific! Yeasty bread on the nose which quickly blew off, lemon dust palate, clean mellow finish. Although technically a NV, I have cellared this particular bottle for several years.

I was very excited by the nose in this, rich autolytic nuts smothered in lemon curd, I actually had to check I hadn’t left some recently snacked pistachios nearby. Well balanced wine but just lacks a bit of X factor when you get to the palate for me

By the glass at the BA lounge, LHR. I wish we tried this blind cause for sure we would have never guessed this as English sparkler. The nose is very welcoming, soft toasty, ripe. On the palate is a wine of two halves, starts very promising but ends short with a light bitter edge. Good 89

When first opened it was dominated by a fierce acidity with both apple and apple cider vinegar flavours. An hour in, along with a slight rise in temperature, some richness appears and a hint of residual sugar as well. This will surely benefit from some ageing - and the flavour profiles seem to point towards a significant ability to age - so put it away for 2 or more years. This bottle was disgorged in June 2018

Whoa Nelly, this has some acid. Nice fruit profile. Not a solo sipper. Drink with fatty fish, oyster, cheese, etc.

Light yeasty note with lots of fresh red apple on the nose. Fresh fruity flavours of red apple and lemon sherbert. Bone dry and fresh finish. Nice, light aperitif, style. Can't wait to try the vintage cuvees and the Blanc de Blancs.

E&M Supps (E & M's in the rocks, Sydney) : Quite citrus and rather sharp - spiky beyond zestiness for me. I wonder what will happen over time? It might be an interesting wine to cellar.

Apples and lemon. Good mousse , but i would have to think really hard about something else to say . The finish is very short. Could have had two bottles of decent champagne for the same price.

NV Sparkling tasting session (Extra Space) : Tasted blind. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Fine persistent bubbles. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of yeast, toast, biscuit, citrus lemon, and floral notes. Youthful. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium- alcohol, medium- body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of yeast, toast, bread, biscuit, citrus lemon. Medium finish. Good quality sparkling. I was guessing that this was not a Champagne, but a well-made sparkling in the méthode …
