The most noteworthy aspect here is the perfumed, cinnamon, cedar, cran-raspberry nose. The palate has plenty of bones to support the tart red fruit and potpourri spice, not a grand old Barolo but a good one.

NobleRottersSydney - North Italy (Fix, St James, Sydney) : {cork, 14.5%} [Andrew] Sweet strawberry fruit and mild oak. Dark fruit underpinning though. A little more dilute than expected on the palate. Medium/high chalky tannins, medium acidity. More traditional Barolo, but certainly making an effort to be drinkable young. Medium body, medium long dry finish. Really good value at ~$60 – the pick of the night in that regard.

Smell decently of grape bubblegum and cherries. Tastes very fruity, slightly on the ripe side but doesn’t matter. Nicely structured with some bite of tannins. Considering the price for which I bought it, it should be a 92-93.

Drinking very well and should continue to improve.

Classic Barolo colour, perhaps a couple of years ahead of where I’d expect it to be. Bright aromas, strong woodsy notes while the palate is a wonderful rhapsody of cherry, five spice and earth tones. So nice on the 2nd day, leather coming out and acidity balancing. Really enjoyable.
