Stunning wine. I love the Paul Hobbs Pinots, but this one takes it to an entirely different level…perfectly balanced with impeccable flavors.

- Brick color. It's somewhat balanced with a light/medium body. Smooth texture with a long finish - PnP. So lush, so juicy. Blackberry nose.

A wonderful Pinot Noir, arguably one of the best Russian River Valley Pinot Noirs I've ever had. It showcases a harmonious balance of fruit, earthiness, spice, and acidity, and it’s already drinking beautifully at this stage. If tasted blind, I might have guessed Sonoma Coast rather than Russian River Valley.

Mountain Majesty & Vineyard Mastery: Paul Hobbs Takes High Hampton; 9/13/2024-9/14/2024 (Cashiers, NC) : Tasted at the welcome reception for the Paul Hobbs Wine Event at High Hampton. Rich, heavy. Inaugural vintage of this wine. Our host said that Paul Hobbs loves this vineyard that is located near Sebastopol. This land was originally an apple orchard but planted to vine in 2015/2016. Pnp. Med high tannin. Tobacco. Mushroom. Earthy. I liked this one but they didn't have any to sell! …

In the fuller, darker Nuits style. Really good. Probably should've let it lay for longer but I wanted to try it. Dark fruits, and you can sense the acid, aroma, and complexity that will come. But it's not all there yet. I would say this was a 93 upon drinking now but giving the 94 as the bottle has more to give and likely higher than 94 when time is right. Decanted 2+ hours in amadeo / r.performance pinot glasses

This gorgeous single vineyard Pinot is sourced from Sonoma’s southwest Sebastopol Hills. There are elevated scents of cherries, and blueberries with notes of lavender, leather and a touch of damp soil on the nose. Tobacco, vanilla, and exotic spices mingle with the core on the medium-bodied palate, with ample freshness and powder-fine tannins in support. The finish is intriguingly subtle and very long.
