The nose hints at lemon drop candy and fresh roses. The palate has a strong base of ripe kiwi fruit, along with rose petals and nectarines, and finishes peppery/spicy with just a little heat. Not oaky, but there is a pleasant amount of vanilla that comes out with a little time. Round and lush, not flat, but it could use a bit more acidic cut all the same.

Very very good and not too oaky. Drank with a grilled steak which matched the smoky flavor very well.
