Wijn was lekkerder 2 jaar geleden.

Tabasco mushroom earthy nose. Dark intensity. Cherry sweat earthy. Soft tannic finish of twigs. Very subtle in all these making a very nice wine. Vanilla undertones and dark berries. Complex and varied across sips. Like a very rich Pinot.

This is in a perfect place - beautiful pure black fruit, subtle tannin, long finish with a hint of spice and clove. Wow, this has shown amazing improvement from earlier bottles even though it is not made for the long haul.

Liked this a lot! Served with prime rib. Very clean, no allergic reaction.

This was a big step up from the last bottle. Rich, warm mouth filling, cloves and a long spicy finish. Delicious.

Pretty much like the previous bottle. Still drinking ok but no discernible development in complexity. Sweet stewed black fruit. Liquorice. Lots of alcohol. Stalky.

Quite a decent south african with a hint of cloves alongside the dark fruit.

Sombre. Sec mais pas trop, tanin prononces mais pas apres. Sensiblement acide. Fruit rouge, légèrement fumé, assez boisé. Bon mais exceptionnel. Pour viandes rouge ou rosées.

Dark color, light fruity nose. Fairly well balanced with light tannins and lots of bright cherry & a light peppery finish. Medium to short finish, it was better after some air. Drinking well now, drink sooner rather than later.

Opaque burgundy color. Forward cherry, blackberry, fig, and smokey nose. Front is smoked, stewed, dark fruits. Good complexity and structure. Sweet tannins, spice, pronounced smokey goodness finish. A very different cab compared to typical CA cabs, but I.m enjoying the change.

Some black fruit coming through, but tight even after decanting... slightly dry on the finish, not too big... acceptable for a Cab at its price point.

Tasted non blind. Garnet, perhaps dark garnet color in the glass, slightly cloudy looking. Nose of boysenberry, currants, plums and Grape aid. Flavors of berries, maybe a bit of cherry on the slightly short finish. Light to medium acidity, light to medium tannins, light to medium body. I'd drink now. 88?

Dense purple colour. Bright ripe fruit nose. Palate was quite confected and jammy. Not really to my personal liking, but drinkable.

Rich purple in the glass the nose shows plenty of black fruit with a little herbaceous character. The palate is supple and smooth with only the slightest hint of burnt rubber on the finish. Good value!
