Château Les Brandeaux Bergerac

Nice garnet color. Very nice nose; undertones that were syrah-like. Had low expectations of this wine, but liked the Bergerac -- french characteristics (mineraly, soil), light-to-mid tannins, subtle fruits, but difficult for us to nail anything down in particular. Very pleasant. Would definitely drink again, and am interested in trying more from this region.
