Citrus, spices and some bitter notes. No signs of the hot vintage.

This was good on the overall chardonnay scale but on my roulot scale this was just okay. At first this tasted very dumb. Buttery, one dimensional, flabby. With air, this became way more interesting. The more air (about an hour or two) the more minerality and acidity came out. The ‘15 I had of this was amazing, super long and so finely detailed. This had finesse but not like the ‘15. Apples, hazelnuts, little bit of phenolics on the mid …

Very backward yet lean with low acidity for a 09. Theres some decent minerality but overall it lacks length and depth. Interesting to see if it will gain some weight with aging.

SLDS May Catchup Event : Faded away, there are some elements that show what it once was but they are fleeting and sadly this was not worthwhile to drink.

Some class and energy, but somehow not quite coming together. certainly good though.

Three Nights In San Juan; 8/27/2015-8/29/2015 : Drunk the 09 and 10 side by side. The 2010 started slow, but simply grew and grew in the glass. I really liked it, and would seek it out. The 09 was good, but lacked sophistication and in the end didn't impress like the 2010.

Comin' around on the nose. Cream, butter, glass is interfering.

Just a tiny touch bleed through on the cork. The nose and palate has just slight touches of hazelnut (premox?) but just touches, and blowing off too. And just opened. Palate is lean, lively and elegant. Gorgeous wine.

Golden apple, pear, lemon zest and white floral element on the nose and palate, with a lacy minerality. I wish I had more, and it paired well with Halibut, white bean puree, morrels, and Cockles. This will age well for a handful of years

Wine Tasted at Acker Auction (Marea - New York NY) : Apple and pear on both nose and palate with hints of baking spice. Ripe and fat fruit to start, more mineral-driven textures near finish. Good now, very good for its level.

So delicate, so pristine, so clean. Light in color, body and flavor, but a joy to drink. Roulot's Meursault lieux-dits are always delightful, if not obviously Meursault in character.

Very nice crisp delicate wine. Very light, nothing about it indicates Meursault. Simple, no trace of oak, but delicious for what it is.

Waterford Staff Party 2.0 (Waterford Wine Co., Milwaukee) : Rich mineral palate, it's got some nice weight, showing oak that seems forward in it's non-new-oak-ness.

Great depth while being light. Yummy indeed.

The nose is laden with flowers and minerals with a nice whiff of honeysuckle. It is rich in the mouth with good shape and excellent cut provided by lemony acidity.
