Mora & Memo Nau & Co Isola dei Nuraghi IGT

First glass: big smell of barnyard, bit of carbonic acid, out of balance. later on, wine thickins and becomes more friendly. A wine for the lover.

A blend of 80% Cannonau and 20% Cabernet-Sauvignon, from an estate in the South-East of Sardinia. Basically this wine is fresh and youthful, modern and without any rusticity, but the fruit is a bit stewed and even slightly roasted, and this gives the wine a sweet-and-sour character, also because tannins are virtually absent.
