Pale/medium ruby core, wide pale garnet rim. Nose is quite developed with earth, sous-bois, some black cherry fruit - attractive and complex. Medium bodied on the palate, only moderate depth and weight on the mid-palate with black cherry fruit, sous-bois and earth and then a note of orange rind on a good length fresh finish. Some firm, slightly rustic tannins still showing on the finish. Over time in glass this developed more savoury red cherry aromas and seemed to put …
