3 hour slow ox and drank over 2 days. Well made Syrah, that was enjoyable but not overly memorable. Not a great QPR.

Decanted for 4 hours. Upon first pour, this reminded me of a Saxum wine, not a usual connection I find with WA wines. Perhaps it was the explosion of aromas in the glass. Really big wine, structured, and beautiful. Just incredible. After the decant it all seemed to meld together. There is certainly no rush to drink this but with a long decant it was really great.

OK - first wait and stash your bottles. No, it was great- took a few hours of air to open and then ran on all cylinders. Hi-toned (in the best possible way and use of the term) structure and elegant. Nice acidity gives way to blue fruit (touch red fruit in there for me as well). Drink (with decant) or hold.
