Christmas Eve dinner. Fresh citrus bouquet that broadens on the palate to reveal tangerines, grapefruit and lemon zest. Precise and reveals layers of flavor. The beautiful hock-shaped bottle adds to a festive dinner table. Drink now to 2027 to capture the freshness of this offering. Outstanding.

USA red 2001 and 2002 plus excellent whites by Jeroen (@ Broederenklooster in Zutphen) : Complex bouquet, smoky, minerals, well dosed oak, very tasty, fresh acidity, tropical fruits and an enormous length.

I had a bottle when it was first delivered and was not blown away, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened bottle #2 recently and found much more developed flavor. While I still prefer Spanish Albariño, this is pretty darn good and very well received by my group. It’s fresh, crisp, and subtle.

Deeply colored with aromas of jasmine, honeysuckle and quince. Rich and viscous, this has some power and reminds me a little bit, texturally at least, of some SQN whites. Flavors of tangerine and quince with a lingering finish. Excellent. 92-93 pts. (TLV)

Have not had a lot of Albariño so can’t make any comparisons. Deep in color, also honeyed on the palate. Melon flavors but not a lot of citrus for me. Interesting and different, doubt it would be for everyone.

I really didn't know what to expect with this, as I don't drink a lot of Albariño' (read: almost none), and this is particularly true for those coming from California, but I was damn impressed with this one. Lovely clear golden color, the nose is immediately beguiling, with notes of tropical fruit, melon, and tons of florals (someone mentioned jasmine, which I find to be spot-on). We had a couple of bottles within a couple of weeks and we want more! This is outstanding out of the bottle though time helped. Multiple layers of honeysuckle, citrus, tropical fruit and herbs. Complex and penetrating; old world feel but new world in texture. A decent finish. We need more bottles!

Did not expect to love this as much as we did. We have also had and enjoy Spanish Albarino but this was in another league. Incredible floral jasmine nose, delicate yet juicy fruit on the palate, pears and apricot and some creamsicle. Enjoyed by all, even the kids who don’t really drink much white wine.

Christmas Eve with the kids. We’ve all had Albariño, but this is in a league of its own. Retains the crispness and mineral notes of traditional Albariño and adds considerable depth and lushness as only Andremily can. Tangerines, lemon curd, apricot. Long and satisfying finish. Drink now to 2029. Outstanding.
