PnP. Smoothing out nicely. The funk has largely dissipated. Wish I had held these longer. Big flavor profile. Full body. Black/red/black fruit. Bramble. Graphite and mineral. Very good grip/length. The oak is very much there, but balanced

PnP, the most clear plum flavor I've ever had in a wine. This is one of my favorite daily drinkers, so I can say with some confidence it's bottle variation, the rest are usually a balance of a bunch of other flavors. Was not bad at all, still quite a nice quaff from a cool weather Syrah with notes of olive and venison as well.

PnP Nice bit of funk. Just the right amount of spice to balance dark fruit. Some cinammon.

Was good right out of the bottle but started to fade later in the night. Not good at all on day 2. Drink up.

Really nice syrah. Opened bottle, poured off a glass and let sit for 2 hours. Nose of dark fruits, meat and spice. Palate had a rich blue and black fruit profile that was perfectly balanced by the acidity that gave it an elegant mouthfeel. My first Mike Smith syrah and I am a fan.

Good dark fruit. Maybe would have been even better if my mouth wasn't shot full of novocaine!

Nose was delicious with fruit. I didn't have the chance to decant as we shared this wonderful nectar with family over a dinner. It was a special occasion and this was a special bottle of wine. Everyone said it was the wine of the night! Deep color and fantastic balance. I bet a 94 was possible with a little hour of decanting.

Probably would have scored a point or two higher, but I just popped and poured.

Similar notes to the last bottle. It could have used some decant time. The last glass was better than the first.

This drinks like a big Syrah, but then the subtleness of the finish lets you know how well made it really is. Blackberry, plum. toast and spice. Vibrant without being overdone, and a very long finish. Second bottle of six, the first being opened at Berserkerfest, side-by-side with its cousin, the Myriad Las Madres Syrah. I liked this bottle better.

Decanted 1 hour, consumed over 3. Nose of red fruits, flowers, and salami. The red fruits continue on the palate with a real velvety feel that make this seem like a much bigger wine upon entry then it really is. The mid-palate shows the purity of the red fruits with raspberry, strawberry, and lovely spice components. Really an eye opening wine for me that is just seemless right now. Excellent!

Deep dark notes of anise and dark red cherry... smooth mouthfeel, with a long finish. This is a truly awesome wine.!!

Decanted for three hours. Beautiful purple hue. Nose of blackberry, plum, and underbrush. Spicy with plenty of acidity. Oak is there but not in an intrusive way. Very well made and can only get better with age. Went great with Flannery hanger steak. I have 5 more bottles that I will lay down and see how they evolve. Mike Smith is doing some great things at Myriad and Quivet.
