Yes, I am drinking this 2009 in 2025, and it is very good. Screw cap.

Really balanced GV. Nice and a bit shy lemon zest flavours, a bit cream, lime blossoms, traces of herbal'ish petrol and very convincing acid. Not an overwhelming but very contenting Grüner Veltliner. No issues and a bit of character.

Vindredi (Bellevue, WA) : Tasted blind. Muted florals, light honey and chalkiness fill the nose. Soft, round body, almost luscious mouthfeel, but still bone dry with excellent minerality. Hints of lemon and green apple as well. Medium finish. Quite enjoyable.

Citrus and some serious minerality. Very good acidity, good mouth-weight. Persistent. Would buy again. I can see this going a few years, no rush to drink.

Clear with medium viscosity in the glass. Lemon-lime, terpene and rotting apple on the nose. Med-lite body with lemon and tangerine on the palate. Secondary melon. Super sturdy…overbuilt IMO. Medium finish. Interesting wine, but the acidity started wonky and became unserviceable as it opened.

This, in my mind, is an outstanding Gruner. Lots of fresh acidity, excellent weight, a long finish, with lots of lemon and lime and a wonderful minerality. I highly recommend this wine if you can find it.

Not particularly complex, but still quite nice. Very intense acidity, but not out of balance. Medium-bodied, with some hints of lime. None of the white pepper you sometimes get with GV.
