Tasted on day 2. Wow. Bit hit of citrus fruit. Some yeasty notes. Lime zest on the mid palate. Plenty of verve on this. This is my best bottle of this yet. If you open these give them plenty of air. They really open up. Excellent balance.

Tasted after 1 hour of air. Starting to open up. Lively citrus fruit. Good hit of mineral. Saline. Excellent balance and plenty of verve. Well done Saul.

Gravity's Pull did not grab me. This had a bit of mineral nose; acidity and flavor were light, seemed to be a bit unfocused with no clear attributes coming through.

Saul with another zinger. Wife blinded it and thought it was Chenin with the acidity. Nice lemon curd backbone with green apple and floral notes coming on second for me. Had a bit of weight from malo I think to give it a great balance. A zippy and lively chard with a nice finish. Fun and versatile wine.

Enjoyable chardonnay. Should let it rest before opening another bottle.

Tasted after 30 minutes of air. Tasted blind. I guessed this was a Picpoul at first. Very high acidity. Green apple fruit. A lean style. Some excellent dry extract on the mid palate. Big hit of mineral too. Almost like licking a piece of slate. Really starting to open now. A very distinctive style of Chardonnay. Excellent balance as I love these lean high acid Chardonnays. Outstanding.

This is excellent and shows the beauty of Chardonnay in Oregon. When I first opened the bottle at 57 degrees, it had what felt like some extra RS, but chilling it down a few degrees to about 50 Fahrenheit corrected that immediately. Super aromatic in the glass, great color, and richly concentrated with both fruit and rocky mineral notes. This is punching so far above its price it’s a little ridiculous. Saul has a huge hit here.

It’s young and could benefit from a decant, but once it opens you get a bit of citrus drizzled over apricots, pears and peaches. Some cream, macadamia, a touch of hay and a lovely minerality with the flint and slate. This bottle was still singing on day 3.

Classic US chardonnay with some oak and a light cream. Mineral in mid palate plus a little cooked pear. Mild finish. Quite autumnal.
