Honey and toasty rich. Soft and sweet on the palate. Works for what it is, and very solidly, at $16. Butterscotch notes one taster.

This is a great white for those who don't think they like white wine. Since it's fermented in neutral oak, you get just a touch of the vanilla cream notes and weightier mouth feel than with a stainless version of the varietal. But it's not too heavy, or an oak/butter bomb and you can still taste the fruit quite nicely. A great deal IMHO on the Bevmo 5cent sale right now.

Sam and Russ in SoCal (Walt's House, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) : Decent Chardonnay. Pear aromas. Silky mouthfeel and medium plus weight. Medium finish.
