94-96 Punkte. 100% Sémillon von 65jährigen Reben. Zauberhafter Duft, exotisch, würzig, Honigblüten, weisser Tee; kräftig am Gaumen, Schmelz, Rasse, Druck und Leichtigkeit, das schwebt über die Zunge, endet langanhaltend, salin, würzig mit einer anregenden Bitternote. Knüpft ans hervorragende Vorjahr an, vielleicht sogar noch besser. (En Primeur Tasting April 2024, 13.6 Alkohol)

Sauterne conditions: v beautiful year, need to wait until Oct for botrytis to set in. but it was quick, all botrytised grapes were picked within 2 weeks. 33% new, the rest first fill barrels. again lots of new oak. honestly can't find too much difference vs GVBS, except from the extra boldness, there's more tropicals, pineapples but still lots of grapefruits. long finish.
