Strong almost candy sweet red fruit bouquet. Smooth red fruit notes with a nice finish. Fair amount of tannins even after decanting 30 min but not overwhelming.

Found this bottle at the back of my cellar and decided to have this with family at Christmas. This was a bottle that I feared might be showing its age but it was just like the last bottle I enjoyed. My last bottle of Corners in my cellar. I always seem to enjoy these Walt Pinot bottles. Still a few older bottles that got lost in my cellar to consume before getting to some new much more recent purchases.

Havent been drinking many Pinots lately. Nice deep , clear color with no evidence of oxidation. Interesting nose, caramel or burnt sugar, cherry fruit. Medium body, high acidity, flavors of cherry and strawberry. Medium finish.

Heavy smoke, leather & black licorice. First few sips were very full of the smoke & leather (we opened the bottle about 40 minutes before).

Cellar Tracker says drinking window ended in 2016, but still a very good pinot. Some earthy, mocha'ish flavors to start. Nose is a bit muted...maybe a hint of strawberries or rasberry. Color is turning darker than bottles had in prior years. Its time to drink this wine, but still plenty pleasurable.

Great taste throughout from start to finish. Lots of tingly fruit flavor. Very enjoyable.

Decanted for about 30 mins at a local restaurant and savored over the next couple of hours. The aromatic nose heightens the anticipation of a wonderful Pinot. Liquid silk of dark fruit on the palate with absolutely no tart, acidic of funky edges. A Cab drinkers Pinot which finishes with refined tannins. Stunning.

Took a while to open up, but once it did, it was very nice. More like a cab than a Pinot but still enjoyable.

A really pleasant Pinot that we all enjoyed on Fathers Day. I tasted it after it was open a while and got cherries, spices, and a hint of walnut on the palate. I have one more that I will drink soon. I don’t imagine it will get any better from here but should hold for a few years.

Very strong vanilla but flint blood orange and five spice are not overpowered. Endlessly fascinating.

In the two years since my last bottle, it has improved a lot. Decanted for 30 minutes and it was ready to drink at that point. Good fruit, mostly black cherry with moderate tannin and acid. Excellent QPR. Wish I had more.

Great QPR and starting to settle down a bit. Still pretty racy and full of fruit. Tannins starting to integrate. Blue fruits, blackberry, smoky, potpourri, spice, earth. Has a smoothness hiding behind its youth. Pretty intense relative to other years, recall those being ready to go early on.

Aerated and decanted for an hour. Initially strong tannins and moderate to strong black fruit, a big food wine. Over the next 45 minutes tannins and fruit both subsided to the point where it was almost thin. If I had another bottle I would decant for a shorter period of time.

Aerated and decanted for 30 minutes. Given how it opened over the next 30 should have waited longer. Big fruit forward pinot typical of many Walt pinots. Big nose. Lots of dark fruit, especially black cherry, with moderate spice. Substantial acid and some minerality. Wish I had purchased more.

A classic pinot, which will change every 30 mins or so. Do not poor a big glass if you want to see al the different changes. Very drinkable today.

Decanted for more than an hour, but it still had not opened. Initially, it was closed with moderately strong tannins and a mild cherry finish. Around two hours tannins subsided and the black cherry became much more pronounced. Will wait at least a year before opening my other bottle.

Rich medium garnet in color, aromas of wild berries and Asian spice, that carry to palate with notes of wild strawberry and cherry, a touch of Chinese 5-Spice, and a pleasant lingering finish, balanced with a spine of acidity, drinking quite well now. Excellent, and a good value.

The wine is a bet full for Anderson Vally cool climate , but not complex . It has good mid palate without finess
