Very similar notes to last bottle; cool climate Shiraz characteristics with subtle stonefruit and oak notes. I probably wouldn't notice the apricot if I didn't know it was had Viognier but when you know to look for it it's definitely there. I enjoyed this bottle more than I remember liking the previous two, so I think it is improving.

I agree wholeheartedly with ColinsCellar. This is a very fine red and an excellent wine to enjoy over the coming summer due to it slightly lighter weight from a cooler vintage. Gorgeous ruby colour with violet tints showing the cool climate style light-medium body. Tart raspberry, red cherry and sour plum fruit on both the nose and palate. Spicy black pepper set against sweet vanilla. Subtle tropical aromas of apricot and marzipan that I guess would be the Viognier. With a long decant it gained richness and chocolatey notes emerged. Very nice but somehow just lacking something to seriously wow me.
